Do I Need Experience Before Booking a Course?
We welcome learners from all backgrounds, including complete beginners and experienced professionals. Our courses are fully accredited with CPD points, so you are able to enrol with us even if you do not hold a specific qualification.
However, while we can accept students onto the training, it is each student’s responsibility to check with their chosen insurance provider, local council, or any other relevant authority to confirm what qualifications they personally need in order to offer treatments legally and safely.
We generally recommend holding at least a Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology or beauty-related qualification, as this may be required by some insurers, even though it is not a requirement for enrolling on our course.
Important Disclaimer:
Our theory-only courses provide CPD-accredited theory certificates only. They do not qualify you to perform any treatment unless your chosen insurance provider and local authority accept theory-only training for that specific service.
It is the student’s sole responsibility to check insurance requirements, council regulations and any other legal or professional criteria before enrolling and before offering treatments to the public.
KBH Training Academy accepts no liability if a student is unable to obtain insurance or does not meet external requirements following completion of a theory-only course.
